Expo City Dubai is a visionary urban destination shaping the next chapter of the city’s growth Unveiled by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the master plan transforms the former World Expo site into a global model for urban excellence and a central pillar of Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan. 

Spanning approximately 3.5 square kilometres, Expo City Dubai is being developed in carefully planned phases and is set to accommodate around 35,000 residents and 40,000 professionals. Designed by UNStudio, the development retains over 80% of the existing Expo infrastructure, reimagined through five interconnected districts arranged within an efficient grid system to prioritise accessibility, walkability, and sustainability. 

Positioned as a hub for innovation, business, and future-focused living, Expo City Dubai plays a key role in supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and the city’s long-term vision.
